CAMERON KAKANDE (They/Them)
Cameron Kakande is a queer and HIV activist. They are a sex educator and trainer for trainees on HIV/STI prevention and treatment. For the past three years, Cameron's work has focused on the intersections between health, gender, sexuality, and (forced) migration throughout Germany. They are former board members of the Africa Community Advisory Board (AfroCab) - Ugandan Chapter. They are also a member of Beyond Colour, co-founder and managing director of People Like Us (PLUS) - a queer-led refugee and migrant organization based in Munich. Cameron is also an active member of the counseling and prevention department of Münchner Aids-Hilfe
KASAGGA ROGERS (They/Them)
Kasagga Rogers are a human rights defender who are passionate about empowering LGBTIQ+ people at the grassroots level. Rogers has been involved in numerous human rights campaigns with major organizations worldwide. They are so enthusiastic about his vision of "HUMAN RIGHTS FOR ALL".
NDAWULA WILLIAM
Ndawula William is a human rights defender who aims to "empower the refugee and migrant community and give them a better understanding of sexual rights and justice". He always strives to be guided by and advocate for the human rights principles of accountability, empowerment, non-discrimination, participation, and expression in the national and international human rights framework.

HAMIDU SESSAAZI
Hamidu Sessaazi is a young queer activist. He loves meeting people and sharing common experiences with them and learning from the unique lives of others. He is currently focusing his energy on project planning and advocacy for queer and transgender refugees and migrants.

Daniella is an outspoken, very charming and headstrong person. It is very important to her to strengthen the community at grassroots level.

Sylvia is frank and very charming. She creates a supportive environment for both the staff and the LGBTIQ+ refugees they rescue. Her commitment to fostering a sense of belonging is reflected in her tireless efforts to streamline administrative processes so that the organization can focus on its core mission: Providing security and assistance to those seeking refuge.
